the spare room

:: The Spare Room, forthcoming from Blood Pudding Press
This is an unofficial image of my chapbook cover that I am posting without Juliet Cook’s permission and I think it’s OK to post it but she might tell me to cut it out and take it down until she is ready to unveil the cover but I am really excited and so I just had to post it for now even if I have to take it down later.

Congratulations, it looks terrific
Love it! Congrats on the chapbook.
Hooray! I can’t wait to read it!
I think this calls for an official ‘YAY!’
so, without further ado, “YAY!”
Very cool
Catherine, I can’t wait until it’s out. The cover art is maybe my favorite part of the collection. It’s work by artist Keith “Part2ism” Hopewell. And I love the way Juliet is making the books by hand. So, I love most the elements of the collection that I had nothing to do with.
I really love the the cover image combined with the “raw” texture of the paper and rope.
I’m soooo looking forward to holding one of these in my hands!
Fantastic cover. I am sure the entirety will be splendid.
Andre, soon, soon.
Deb, no really — the cover and design are the best parts.
Mark, yay! Or, since I still have my lung infection, “Yay-hack-hack-hack!”
YAY!!! YAY!!! YAY!!!
Bee-yew-ti-ful, dah-ling!
Congratulations Dana!
You and your work deserve this — it looks wonderful.
Oh, and I love what you’ve done with the site — your header is great!
Joyce, yay! *hack, hack, hack*
Emily, when are you going to start blogging?
Nathan, I’m glad you like the header. Iz pretty. And Andre didn’t even feel compelled to change the font or the design at all. That’s a huge achievement on my end.
Take it down! Just kidding! I’m delighted you posted it–the more promo the better–and I will post an unofficial image on some of my sites tomorrow–and then official image coming soon! Woohoo!
Also the cover is indeed exceptional, but the poems inside even better.
Juliet. Am I in trouble? Are you going to tie me up? No? Oh, OK. That’s too bad.
The tying of actual knots is not my forte (too mechanical), but I could attempt some sort of CONCEPTUAL bondage or a candy gag.
I did a little online promo this evening myself and will do more when the chapbook is actuallly available.
I finished printing out covers tonight, so it’s pretty much just a matter of awaiting the arrival of that black ribbon via mail and then sitting down for a little binding session. Yay!
Juliet, conceptual bondage or a dandy gag? How splendid does all of that sound?
A little binding session? Now I know why you are into bookmaking.
congrats!
