A storm woke me up early this morning, which made me grumpy. Until, that is, I checked my email and saw that Irene Toh, who blogs at Lost in Translation, gave me an award! How exciting is that? It’s a pretty award, too. Here are all the details about it.

I am going to display it in my sidebar momentarily, just as soon as I have the mental clarity to remember how to do so. I also have to list seven awesome things about myself and pass the crown on to seven other bloggers. That, too, shall come when I am fully awake (or should I say when I get my royal ass in gear).

Irene says the award is a girl thing, but don’t expect me to adhere to that policy when making my list of winners. As Deb Scott says, men are flowers, too. Why can’t they also be queens?
