You are in very good company. That’s so cool.

2. Nathan - December 11, 2008

Yeah, congratulations Dana. Your work deserves the recognition.

3. Dana - December 11, 2008

Churlita, thanks. And hi.

4. Dana - December 11, 2008

i just went over and read them. they are amazing poems, from the first to the last.

7. Dana - December 11, 2008

Andre, :)

Carolee, remember those fragments — I wrote them in the wayback times (i.e., fall of 2006), and many of them were short responses to poems I was reading by Kathleen Norris. I think I pestered you to get in on the action, too, and write short poems in response to other poems, but I don’t know if you ever did.

Love the bio as well as the poems, it is hard to do bios well. Usually they are either boring and generic, or they sound as if someone is trying too hard to be clever. Yours fits you perfectly (or at least, it fits the persona you reveal here).

Great, Dana. These were very interesting to read, a real delight. And you are in good company, but so are they! Congrats.

Oh, I like the font they use too, I think it does your poems justice. Sort of spare and modern in look.

Catherine, I’m glad you like the bio. Feldman wrote it for me. He’s a good little robot. :)

12. Dana - December 11, 2008

Christine, thanks for reading them.

13. Michelle - December 11, 2008

You are completely unstoppable. Well done!

14. Dana - December 11, 2008

Michelle, I don’t know about that.

16. Dana - December 11, 2008

Hey, Pissy. ;)

Of course not! Is this because I didn’t mention the Jesus poem that’s up at Qarrtsiluni right now? I just have too much to blog at the moment, as evidenced by the fact that issue 14 of Coconut came out about a week ago, and I am just now blogging about it.

Tomorrow, I will blog about the poem on Qarrtsiluni, and I need to blog about the draft I have up at Quarrel. I should probably also mention my presentation/reading and remind people to come out for the poetry polar bear dive. What else am I leaving out?
