self-interview
October 17, 2007
How do you feel today?
Gauzy.
What do you want?
Sleep. And a bunny.
Why are your hands so cold?
It’s for their own good. When they get hot, they get lazy.
Do you mean that?
No.
What do you mean?
Very little.
Are you always this difficult?
I think you already know the answer to that question.

If you don’t credit Dana (by using her full name and preferably by linking back to the appropriate post) for however you copy, distribute, transmit or adapt her words, you are being bad. And naughty. And she will have her servant monkeys hunt you down and cut your hands off so you can never copy, distribute, transmit or adapt anyone’s work again and call it your own.
(Unless, of course, you were to use your butt cheeks to manipulate your keyboard with the copying, distributing, transmitting, adapting and whatnot, but Dana fortunately has only met one person whose butt cheeks are that talented. He could play a major third on a piano using nothing but his ass. She kids you not.).

are you happy? you’ve got me seeing collaborative opportunities everywhere. we could do this collaboratively. first person starts with a question. second person answers and asks a new question and passes it along. although i don’t know what it has to do with poetry … hm.
Polkadotwitch, it’s like when you play too much Tetris and start trying to fit the world together.
G’day,
I just stumbled upon your site (long story - casually trawling the net for poetry exercises, followed a couple of links on a whim, & here I am). I just thought I’d tell you I really like your poetry, & this one just… I don’t know, just liked it - made me grin a wry smile; enough that it tipped me over into actually telling you instead of just mutely appreciating. Cheers.
